2011 US Open Golf

Historical major golf event is coming to the town of Capitol Hill
The 111th U.S. Open Golf Championship will be held on the Blue Course at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland June 16 through June 19. This marks the third US Open to be held at the Congressional CC, the first in 1964 when Ken Venturi won by four strokes, the second in 1997 when Ernie Els won his second major championship.
This marquee 7,250 yard, 70 par championship course was originally designed by the late golf course architect, Devereux Emmett in 1924. In 1957 it was redesigned by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and later renovated twice in 1989 and 2006 by Jones’s second son, golf designer, Rees Jones. It is ranked in America’s top 100 courses.
Bryton Harry will be happy to coordinate your U.S. Golf experience. We have access to the hospitality tents inside the course, and can arrange hotel accommodations and transportations.
