This year's U.S. Open Golf Championship returns to the Black Course at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, NY. In 2002, Bethpage State Park became the first pulicly-owned facility to host the Open, where Tiger Woods was crowned Champion and the only player in the field to break par.

This "monster of a golf course" boasts a couple of 500+ yard par 4's as well as some of the deepest bunkers in the country. The Black Course plays well over 7,000 yards, making distance and a great sand game crucial for this year's U.S. Open competitors. The Black Course will team with an enthusiastic and always "vocal" New York area crowd to make the event a truly memorable one.
